I was once the gleeful owner of a Honda CRM 250 motorbike which was the kind of bike for tearing along muddy trails and narrow country lanes or in steadier moments just poddling and taking in the scenery. It didn't actually like steadier moments too much and it was so happy at full throttle, preferably with the front wheel in the air. I swear I didn't do it purposefully; it really did have an aversion to keeping contact between the front wheel and the road surface.
It developed an annoying fault after a while which meant it kept cutting out every few minutes; my right thigh was becoming disproportionate to my left with kick starting it repeatedly. It transpired that the errant part was a piece of metal called a regulator/rectifier that would prove to be extremely elusive due to the age of the bike and it being a grey import. I searched the internet, motorcycle breakers and even bike auto-jumbles in search of this part to no avail for around 2 months which was depressing because I was missing time riding my hooligan bike.
Around that time I went to a Mind, Body and Spirit event in London and was fortunate enough to attend a talk given by Doreen Virtue to mark the launch of her book Archangels and Ascended Masters. The thing that stood out most in the talk was the intervention of Archangel Michael who announced his presence by tampering with the sound system for a few minutes and that's when I learned that Michael likes technology and gadgets.
That gave me an idea.
I decided to try this out for myself and to see if Michael could actually fix this annoying piece of metal. So one day I sat down with said piece of metal and a pendulum and I asked Michael if he would help me fix my bike. I felt that little fizz of energy that I experience when I know Angels are present and my pendulum began to spin over the part for a few minutes and eventually came to a stand still. I was so excited and full of anticipation as I went and reconnected the part to my bike. Did it work? NO!
This left me a tad disappointed to say the least so I asked what I was supposed to do next. The advice that came through was to take the part to Pit Stop, a local bike breaker, and ask them if they had one. Sulkily I pointed out that I had already tried them and they hadn't had one, apparently my bike was a rare as rocking horse manure. Michael's response was 'Trust me'.
So I took my piece of metal to Pit Stop and wandered into the seeming chaos of motorbike carcasses. Where does on start! Needles and haystacks were two words that sprung to mind. However, all I had to do was dangle the part at the guy in the shop and ask with wide innocent eyes and batting lids "have you got one of these please?"
He knew instantly what it was and to my complete astonishment told me they'd just had a bike like mine in for breaking for spares and it had the part I needed. I could not believe my luck and a big mental thank you went to Michael.
The solutions the angelic realms come up with for our problems are sometimes not as straightforward or obvious as we expect them to be. They can be extremely imaginative, but what I've found is that they need us to meet them halfway in some manner and often it requires us to display our trust in them. If Michael had just fixed the part as it lay on my knee it wouldn't have required any acknowledgement or effort on my part and maybe there was a chance I would have dismissed it as a fluke. Listening to that guidance demonstrated my faith in Michael.
This reminds me of a joke where a guy has been praying to God to allow him to win the jackpot on the lottery, but each time the lottery is drawn the guy doesn't win and eventually he asks God why he hasn't helped him win the lottery. God replies "You have to meet me halfway! At least buy a ticket!"
The replacement part did work and I was able to spend many more hours hurtling around on that bike giggling like a lunatic with or head butting walls on country lanes when it spat me off! Thank you Michael! Luv ya dude!
